Parthenope (Ancient Greek: Παρθενόπη) was one of the sirens in Greek mythology. Her name means 'maiden-voiced' from parthenos (παρθένος, meaning fig. 'maiden/virgin') and ops (ὄψ, meaning 'appearance').: 20
