Perevolotsky District (Russian: Переволоцкий райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,742 square kilometers (1,059 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Perevolotsky. Population: 28,345 (2010 Census); 29,088 (2002 Census); 30,357 (1989 Soviet census). The population of the administrative center accounts for 33.9% of the total district's population.
