Perevozsky District (Russian: Перево́зский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the forty in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia. Municipally, it is incorporated as Perevozsky Municipal District. It is located in the southern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 769.2 square kilometers (297.0 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Perevoz. Population: 16,519 (2010 Census); 18,024 (2002 Census); 17,146 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Perevoz accounts for 55.7% of the district's total population.
