Phaedon Avouris

Phaedon Avouris (Greek: Φαίδων Αβούρης; born 1945) leads IBM’s nanoscience and nanotechnology research efforts. His research explores the applications of molecular devices in computing and electronics. This includes experimental and theoretical studies on the electronics and photonics of carbon nanotubes (CNT) and graphene.
