Philomelus (/ˌfɪləˈmiːləs/; Greek: Φιλόμηλος, romanized: Philómēlos), Philomêlos or Philomenus /fɪˈlɒmɪnəs/ was a minor Greek demi-god, patron of husbandry, tillage/ploughing and agriculture. His name means 'friend of ease' from philos and mêlos.
