Podosinovsky District (Russian: Подоси́новский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,265 square kilometers (1,647 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Podosinovets. Population: 17,009 (2010 Census); 21,649 (2002 Census); 25,559 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Podosinovets accounts for 23.7% of the district's total population.
