Pokrovsky, also spelled Pokrovski and Pokrovskii (Russian: Покровский), or Pokrovskaya (feminine; Покровская) is a Russian clerical surname derived from Pokrov, either from the feast of Покров Пресвятой Богородицы (Intercession of the Theotokos) or from any of Porkov churches or monasteries.
