Polovinsky District (Russian: Половинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kurgan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,728 square kilometers (1,053 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo of Polovinnoye. Population: 12,255 (2010 Census); 16,295 (2002 Census); 17,123 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Polovinnoye accounts for 37.9% of the district's total population.
