Ponsbourne St Mary’s Church is a Church of England parish church in Newgate Street Village, Hertfordshire, England, situated at the centre of the village near Ponsbourne St Mary’s Church of England Primary School. Built in 1848 in the Early English Gothic style, it was initially known as St Mary’s, Tolmers, and later St Mary’s, Hatfield, before becoming the parish church of Ponsbourne in 1912. Designated a Grade II listed building in 1966, the church features a Bath stone exterior, a prominent spire, and a Walker pipe organ installed in 1858. As part of the Hartford Hundred West Group in the Diocese of St Albans, it serves a small rural community through worship and local events.
