Prigorodny District (Russian: При́городный райо́н, romanized: Prigorodny Raion; Ossetian: Горæтгæроны район, romanized: Gorætgærony Rajon; Ingush: ГӀалме Шахьар, romanized: Ghalme Shaꜧar) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eight in the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, Russia. It is located in the east of the republic. The area of the district is 1,460 square kilometers (560 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Oktyabrskoye.
