Article 2 of the Internal System of the PYO: "The Progressive Youth Organization in Lebanon – is a youth association with an independent organizational and administrative structure. It adopts the principles of socialist progressivism, including the values of development, democracy, justice, freedom, and the principles of truth, goodness, and equality".
