Qadir Bridge
Qadir Bridge or Ahvaz eighth Bridge, (Persian: پل غدیر یا پل هشتم اهواز), is the eighth intra-urban bridge in Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran. The construction project of this bridge started in February 2006 and ended in March 2012. The structure of this bridge is of wicker cable type and its length is 1014 meters and its width is 22 meters. The eighth bridge connects the Amaniyeh area and Takht-e Soleyman street, which are located west of the Karun river, with Zand street, which is located east of this river.
That is the largest cable bridge in the Middle East.
