Quernes (French pronunciation: [kɛʁn]; West Flemish: Kernes) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France.region of France 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Béthune and 32 miles (51 km) west of Lille. The inhabitants are called the Quernois.
The commune is part of the Communauté d'agglomération de Béthune-Bruay, Artois-Lys Romane which brings together 100 communes and has 276,094 inhabitants in 2020.
