The Radical Democratic Party, alternately the Radical Democracy, was an abolitionist political party in the United States in 1864. It nominated John C. Frémont in the 1864 United States presidential election. Frémont's candidacy failed to gain momentum, and he withdrew from the race on September 22, 1864 in favor of the eventual winner, the incumbent president and National Union candidate Abraham Lincoln.
