Ralph Semmel

Ralph D. Semmel is an American engineer and computer scientist. He became the eighth director of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, Maryland, on July 1, 2010. In 2024, he announced that he would step down from his role in July 2025.
