Ravindra Hemraj Dhangekar is an Indian politician from Pune, who previously served as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Kasba Peth Assembly constituency. He won the seat in a by-election in March 2023, which was necessitated by the death of the incumbent BJP MLA Mukta Tilak. Dhangekar's victory on a Congress ticket was seen as a significant upset, ending the BJP's 28-year hold on the constituency.
Following his victory in the by-election, Dhangekar was chosen as the Indian National Congress candidate for the Pune Lok Sabha constituency in the 2024 general elections. He competed against Murlidhar Mohol of the BJP but was not successful. On 10 March 2025, He quits Indian National Congress and joins Shiv Sena
