Relations between heat capacities

In thermodynamics, the heat capacity at constant volume, ${\displaystyle C_{V}}$, and the heat capacity at constant pressure, ${\displaystyle C_{P}}$, are extensive properties that have the magnitude of energy divided by temperature.
