Richard James Berry (born November 5, 1962) is an American entrepreneur and politician who served as the 29th mayor of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also a former two term member of the New Mexico House of Representatives. He is a member of the Republican Party, and, as of 2025, is the last Republican Mayor of Albuquerque.
Berry was sworn into office on December 1, 2009, after defeating incumbent Democrat Martin Chávez. Berry became the first Republican Mayor of Albuquerque in nearly 30 years.
