Richard Miles (aerospace engineer)
Richard Miles is Distinguished University Professor at the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University. He was Chairman of the Department of Engineering Physics at Princeton for 16 years (1980–1996). He has been a member of the National Academy of Engineering since 2011. He has developed and researched lasers as tools for studying hypersonic flow patterns.
