Roman Borisovich Berdnikov (Russian: Роман Борисович Бердников; born 31 August 1974) is a Russian lieutenant general and former commander of the Western Military District between October and December 2022. He previously commanded the Russian military intervention in Syria. He commanded the 59th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade and, subsequently, the 29th Combined Arms Army.
