Christen Friis Rottbøll

Christen Friis Rottbøll (3 March 1727, at Hørbygård, Denmark – 15 June 1797, in Copenhagen) was a Danish physician and botanist: He was a pupil of Carolus Linnaeus. The standard author abbreviation Rottb. is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.
