Sélibaby (department)

Sélibaby is a department of Guidimaka Region in of southern Mauritania.

Located in the southern part of the country near the Senegal and Mali borders, it serves as an important administrative and economic center for the region. Sélibaby is part of the Sahel zone and features a semi-arid climate, with a rainy season that supports limited agricultural activities.
