Sam Wood (born 11 July 1997) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a centre for the Castleford Tigers in the Super League, whom he captains, and England at international level.
He has previously played for the Huddersfield Giants and Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League. He has spent time on loan and dual registration from Huddersfield at Oldham, Halifax, Batley Bulldogs and Dewsbury Rams in the Championship, and at Workington Town in League 1.
