Sendurai A. Mani is an Indian-American oncologist and a Molecular Biologist. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences, and Dean's Chair for Translational Oncology at Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School. He is also the associate director for Translational Oncology at the Legorreta Cancer Center at Alpert Medical School, Brown University. In recognition of his academic contributions, Dr. Mani was awarded the Master of Arts (ad eundem) honorary degree by Brown University in 2025. Previously, he was a co-director of Metastasis Research Center and co-director, the Center for Stem Cell & Developmental Biology, and a professor of Translational Molecular Pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
