Shadrinsky District (Russian: Шадринский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kurgan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,100 square kilometers (1,600 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Shadrinsk (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 27,360 (2010 Census); 33,331 (2002 Census); 35,256 (1989 Soviet census).
