Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pashto: [ʃɑhin 'ʃɑh əpridi]; born 6 April 2000) is a Pakistani international cricketer and former captain of the national T20I team. A left-arm fast bowler, he made his debut for Pakistan in 2018, and quickly became a leading figure, winning the ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year in 2021, and becoming the first Pakistani to receive the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. He starred in the 2019 Cricket World Cup and led Lahore Qalandars to consecutive Pakistan Super League titles in 2022 and 2023, making them the first team to defend the title.He also led them to the title in PSL 2025 becoming the first captain to win 3 titles.
