Shayar (poet)

A shayar is a poet who composes sher, or couplets, in Urdu poetry (Urdu: اُردُو شاعرى Urdu shayari). A shayar writes ghazals and nazms in the Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi & Bangla languages.
