Emile "Sid" Edwards is an American politician who is the mayor-president of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A Republican, he was elected mayor-president in a runoff election held on December 7, 2024, defeating incumbent Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome. He was sworn in on January 2, 2025.
