Silvia Monfort (French pronunciation: [silvja mɔ̃fɔʁ], born Simone Marguerite Favre-Bertin [simɔn maʁɡəʁit favʁ bɛʁtɛ̃], 6 June 1923 – 30 March 1991) was a French actress and theatre director. She was the daughter of Charles-Maurice Favre-Bertin, a French sculptor, decorator, and medalist, and was the wife of Pierre Gruneberg. She was named a Knight of the Legion of Honour in 1973, an Officer of Arts and Letters in 1979, and Commander of Arts and Letters in 1983. She died in 1991 of lung cancer, and is buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery.
