The 6th federal electoral district of Hidalgo (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 06 de Hidalgo) is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of the seven districts currently operating in the state of Hidalgo.
It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative period by means of the first-past-the-post system. As of 2024, votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fourth electoral region.
Suspended in 1943, the 6th district was re-established as part of the 1977 electoral reforms. Under the 1975 districting plan, Hidalgo only had five congressional districts; under the 1977 reforms, the number increased to six. The restored 6th district elected its first deputy, to the 51st Congress, in the 1979 mid-term election.
The current member for the district, elected in the 2024 general election, is Ricardo Crespo Arroyo of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena).
