The Socialist Resistance (SocSopr; Russian: Социалистическое сопротивление; СоцСопр; Sotsialisticheskoye soprotivleniye, SotsSopr) was a Russian Trotskyist political organization. It was active in a number of cities. Until November 21, 2009, it was the Russian section of the Committee for a Workers' International. On March 7, 2011, Socialist Resistance merged with the Socialist League "Vpered" to form a new organization – the Russian Socialist Movement.
