Christian Adolph "Sonny" Jurgensen III (born August 23, 1934) is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins. He played college football for the Duke Blue Devils. Jurgensen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1983. He was also a longtime color commentator for Washington's radio broadcast crew.
