Southern New Hampshire Health (SNHH) is a non-profit, integrated healthcare system that delivers primary, specialty, and urgent care to patients across southern New Hampshire and neighboring northern Massachusetts. The system is anchored by Southern New Hampshire Medical Center (SNHMC) in Nashua and extends its clinical reach through a strategic affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital—bringing tertiary-level expertise in stroke, cancer, vascular, and pediatric services closer to home.
Founded in 1893 as Nashua Memorial Hospital, SNHMC has grown into a 188-bed, DNV-accredited regional referral hospital that logs nearly 100,000 patient visits each year. The campus houses a verified Level III trauma center, a Level II Special Care Nursery, and a Magnet-designated nursing program—one of only a handful of hospitals nationwide to achieve four consecutive Magnet recognitions for nursing excellence.
SNHH’s employed medical group, Foundation Medical Partners, adds more than 300 physicians and advanced-practice clinicians practicing in over 70 outpatient sites, ensuring seamless integration between hospital and ambulatory care. Together, SNHMC and Foundation Medical Partners offer a full continuum of services, from preventive care and chronic-disease management to advanced endoscopy, orthopedics, cardiology, gastroenterology, and neurosurgery.
To improve access for non-emergent needs, SNHH operates Immediate Care centers within New Hampshire and Massachusetts—supplemented by Virtual Immediate Care —providing extended-hours, no-appointment care with on-site lab and X-ray services and close coordination with primary-care physicians.
