Stara Cerkev (pronounced [ˈstaːɾa ˈtseːɾkɛu̯]; in older sources also Srednja vas, German: Mitterdorf) is a village northwest of Kočevje in southern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
