Sukhothai (Thai: สุโขทัย, pronounced [sù.kʰǒː.tʰāj]) was the capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom (also known as the Kingdom of Siam). Sukhothai is 12 km west of the modern city of Sukhothai Thani.
