Surazhsky District (Russian: Сура́жский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,128 square kilometers (436 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Surazh. Population: 22,345 (2021 Census); 24,623 (2010 Census); 27,223 (2002 Census); 31,697 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Surazh accounts for 50.0% of the district's total population.
