Světlá nad Sázavou (Czech pronunciation: [ˈsvjɛtlaː ˈnat saːzavou]; German: Swietla ob der Sasau) is a town in Havlíčkův Brod District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 6,400 inhabitants. It is known for a large women's prison.
