Syktyvdinsky District (Russian: Сыктывдинский райо́н; Komi: Сыктывдін район, Syktyvdïn rajon) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twelve in the Komi Republic, Russia. It is located in the south of the republic. The area of the district is 7,405 square kilometers (2,859 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Vylgort. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 22,660, with the population of Vylgort accounting for 45.4% of that number.
