Tamīm ibn Aws al-Dārī (Arabic: تميم بن أوس الداري, died 661) was a companion of Muhammad and an early convert from Christianity to Islam. In Islamic eschatology he is known for encountering Dajjal during one of his journeys. Tamim's story has become the bedrock of various Medieval narratives and legends, earning Tamim the title of "the intrepid traveler."
