Tanay, officially the Municipality of Tanay (Filipino: Bayan ng Tanay IPA: [tɐˈnaɪ]), is a municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 139,420 people.

Tanay is home to the namesake Tanay–Paete dialect of Tagalog, which apart from this municipality is spoken on the municipalities located on the eastern shores of the Laguna Lake.
