Tarahara (तरहरा) is a town in Sunsari District of Nepal. It is located on Koshi Highway between Itahari and Dharan. Tarahara has two Municipality itahari-19 and Itahari-20 which comes under Itahari sub- metropolitan.
Tarahara is also famous for Sekuwa, Lahure,Tourist destination, sports and culture.
The young generations of Tarahara are so active they have involved in Different types of social work like they have Liberal Society club and many other clubs which work for people of tarahara.
