Tashlinsky District (Russian: Ташлинский райо́н; Kazakh: Ташла ауданы, Tashla aýdany) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,700 square kilometers (1,000 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Tashla. Population: 25,281 (2010 Census); 26,886 (2002 Census); 23,084 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Tashla accounts for 27.9% of the district's total population.
