Tavrichesky District (Russian: Таври́ческий райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,800 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Tavricheskoye. Population: 36,458 (2010 Census); 38,840 (2002 Census); 47,751 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Tavricheskoye accounts for 36.0% of the district's total population.
