Tecoluca is a municipality in the San Vicente department of El Salvador. The Terrorism Confinement Center maximum security prison is located in Tecoluca. The Terrorism Confinement Center, also known as CECOT is a prison in Tecoluca that houses up to 40,000 inmates.
