Tenggarong (Indonesian pronunciation: [təŋˈɡarɔŋ], abbreviated: TRG) is an administrative district (kecamatan) which serves as the capital of the Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province of Indonesia. It covers a land area of 358.34 km2, and it had a population of 96,209 at the 2010 Census and 106,480 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2024 was 112,937. Its administrative headquarters is located at the urban village (kelurahan) of Timbau.
