The Territorial Defense Troops of Belarus (Belarusian: Войскі Терытарыяльнай абарёны Респубіліки Белярус) are a branch of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus that is convened only during wartime or during periods of tense military-political situations. The Territorial Defense Troops are of auxiliary importance and consist of individuals who have served their term of service and are in reserve. September 1 is the Day of the Territorial Defense.
