The End of Heartache is the third studio album by American metalcore band Killswitch Engage. It was released on May 11, 2004, through Roadrunner Records. It is the first album to feature lead vocalist Howard Jones and drummer Justin Foley.
The album combines American-style metalcore with European-style melodic death metal to create "the perfect" melodic metalcore work, according to MetalSucks. It received positive reviews from critics.
