The thirty-sixth season of the American animated sitcom The Simpsons aired on Fox between September 29, 2024 and May 18, 2025. The season was the second of two seasons ordered by Fox. It was produced by Gracie Films and 20th Television Animation. The primary showrunner for the season is Matt Selman. In addition to the Fox broadcast season, four additional episodes were commissioned by Disney+ and released exclusively through their platform.
