Thierry de Montbrial (French pronunciation: [tjɛʁi də mɔ̃bʁijal]; born 3 March 1943) is the executive chairman of the French Institute of International Relations (Ifri), which he founded in 1979. He is also the founder and chairman of the World Policy Conference (WPC), which he created in 2008. He has been a member of the French Academy of Moral and Political Sciences since 1992. He is an honorary member of numerous foreign academies.
