Thomas James Morstead (born March 8, 1986) is an American professional football punter for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the SMU Mustangs and was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL draft. Morstead has also played for the New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, and Miami Dolphins.
